Question Help!!!!!!!!!

hi gang, i have a real good one that has stumped me for months and i need some help.
i have a 1990 f150 2wd a/t, 295/50/r15 bfg,on 15x10 a/r's. 8ft bed long wb.this truck has been lowered 2" in the front via coil springs. b4 i got this truck it was in an accident.
now with this backround info can anyone tell me why i have to change balljoints every 3-6 months? usually the uppers.
my theories are as follows:1. the trucks frame is out of whack because of the previous acc? 2.does the large tire size have anything to do with it? any help is greatly appreciated as i am at my witts end ,and if i can't figure this out i will have to sell the truck, and i don't really want to do that. thanks a bunch.

when you put new ball joints in is it fixed? other wise i think maybe your lowering coils make your tires do that.

what is you wheel off set and how big are they? i have heard low off sets can wear out wheel bearings and ball joints fast. do you try and get it alined again whe you notice your wheels doing this? maybe you just have to align it every 6 months, not replace ball joints.

i don't know the offset. i will check it. would that wear out bj's? i just don't understand how all the other guys do so much more to their trucks and all i have done is wide tires and lower coils and i get the problems? it is very weird.

by having the wheels out wider, you put more force on the ball joints because the farther you put you wheels out the more leverage there is on the joint. but since it's been crashed, you might want a good frame shop to look it over, but i am not sure hoe it would cause that, i would think it would have other problems to if the frame was out of wack.
