Quincy Carter's 02 Harley

A relative of mine just bought Dallas Cowboys' Quincy Carter's old F150 Harley. I have to say, I like this thing alot. Its just like any other F150 supercrew eaton blown 5.4 Harley on 20's, but I haven't had much experience with these. It does have a full Kenwood stereo system with dvd and a changer, though.
Anyway, I just wanted to say to anyone that has one of these; You have an AWESOME truck and I am jealous!

She didn't get it off ebay. She bought it from prestige ford in garland TX. A friend of mine showed me that auction after she already had the truck. Looks like a single use buyer ended it. She payed about what other low mile 02's are going for, so it was a decent deal.
But, yeah I reaaaallly like it. The interior (dvd, sunroof, leather buckets) is so nice it has spoiled me.
And it runs much better than I expected, I stayed ahead of an 03 cobra the other day from 25-90mph, I am guessing this guy couldn't shift or something. I mean, I had 2 other people riding in the truck laughing, after this guy initiated the race. He looked sad when I gave him a thumbs up, lol.
I was thinking of taking the airbag cover off and replace it with one that was not signed, since she doesn't want to wipe it off. But other than that I am in love with this thing.
Oh, btw, where have most folks mounted subwoofers in these?

Jimbo,
About the only place for a decent size sub 10" or 12" is in the rear console, JL makes a stealth sub box to fit inside the console, but its something like $500 ?

Many have built their own box and installed it in the rear console, mine isnt done yet, but I am planning for a 12" sub, you can gain tons of audio info from the harley truck club www.nhtoc.com click on the audio forum and you can learn from others mistakes.

thats cool on spanking the Cobra! do you have any engine mods? like pulley, chip, intake kind of stuff?

Ive got a few on mine (see gallery) and it runs pretty good, Hopefully with a little better air I can get it in the 13's

You should run it down here, they're running real high thirteens on stock rubber with no mods. Our da and elevation are pretty good. The truck is stock though, I am sure the guy in the 03 was just a bad driver.
Thanks for the info, and your truck looks sharp!

Yeah even with all my mods I was only getting 14.30's on the stock rubber. 1300 ft elevation, and the weather was high 90's with high humidity, I am going to try again this spring when the air is better, it should run somewhere between 13.5-13.7...really about as far as I want to push the stock rods!
