Howdy, I got a $50 dollar gift certificate to Cabela's for test driving a new 2004 f-150 . (I drove a crewcab lariet-- nice )

I've been needing a pair of lights for my grille gaurd and saw that cabela's sells Hella 500 driving lights.

Anyway, I'm wondering if they're any good? . Anyone have any experience with these lights? Are they durable. How far do they shine or how bright are they. I'll use 'em on the road, in the pasture, hunting, and in the mud.

I had a set of Hella 500 driving lights on my last truck, the are great! Really bright, durable, and a very high quality light for the money!

I've got 550s. Same basic light, rectangular reflector instead of round. Good lights, good install kits.
