If you are getting a good spark and fuel, you may have jumped a gear on your timing chain. I just had that problem recently and it's what brought me to FTE and now I just can't stay away!
I have an 84' 302 with 195,000 and the ceramic teeth on the timing gear finally gave way and the chain jumped 3 teeth. It just cranked and cranked but would not start. New chain and gears and it now runs great.

If the teeth on the original gear have come/broke off be sure to try to find all of them because if you don't the oil pump might pick up some or one of them and lock oil pump stripping the drive hex shaft of the distributer, don't trust the screen on the pickup tube of the oil pump to catch everything, I had a 70 302 that this happend to.
