I was told by Ford that my loaded F150 Lariet SuperCrew with DVD system and chrome running boards was build the week of Dec 8th.

I did all the paperwork on 12/31/03

Today I called pressing the dealer as to where my truck is.
He made some calls... Turns out Ford did not build the truck, and it will not be built until the week of 2/16/04. Even though the computer still says it has been built.

I guess all trucks with the DVD system got pulled.

Also, there are supply problems with chrome running board availability and that may further hold up my truck.

UGGGHHHHHH!!! What a mess I'm in.

So if you have either of these options, you may have delays as well.

 

I ordered yesterday, with DVD and Chorme tube boards, yikes, it may really be 8-12 weeks.
