The seatbelt locking mechanism is getting in my way. Fix?
I'm not really that fat I don't think. I'm not thin either. But when I put my right arm on the armrest on the center console, that locking mechanism digs into my side. It's so disappointing, anyone have any clues as to how I can fix this?

The seat belt mechanism in my truck DRIVES ME NUTS.
It locks on the slightest tug. It locks up and grabs me going in and out of parking lot ramps, and half the time when I reach over to adjust the CD player it'll lock and prevent me from reaching! I've never had, or even ridden in, another vehicle with a seat belt as touchy as this one.
There must be a cure for this. Someone out there, PLEASE HELP!

Maybe you could take one of those seatbelt pads and just slide it down to the buckle. And believe me, fat or thin, you notice it's there.
The seatbelt, itself, seems real quirky. I use it 100% when driving. Most of the time, I have no problem moving around. Then other days....WHACK...WHACK....Profanity Removed? I must look like a mad man yankin and pullin and screamin at that thing.
