ok if yall don't think im crazy yet it's a wonder. ive got another ? seems i can't find an answer to. wat is the sensor or sending unit that is located between the fuel pump and the oil filter 0n a 1979 351 modified.it looks like a water temp sending unit,but it's located between the head and water pump on the passenger side. it aint the destination its the jurney

 

I think it would the oil pressure sending unit or the temp sending unit....not sure which one though.

 

i had the bright idea to unscrew it. it aint for oil.it looked like it had coolant on it . why two on the same motor . doesn't make sence to me.i do know it bugs me to not understand the logic behind it

Are you talking about the port directly between the fuel pump and the oil filter, in the block?

 

wep that would the one im refering to. its driving me grazy er

Hmmm, I thought that was engine oil behind that particular plug.
