Roadmaster Active Suspension & F250

I have a Roadmaster Active Suspension package (3/4 ton model) that I removed from my F150 before I sold it (I planned ahead and bought the heavier Roadmaster package). I now have a 2001 F250SD 2 wheel drive with the V10 & 3.73 rear-end. Roadmaster says that I can install this kit on my truck but would have to remove the overload spring. My reason for buying a 250 was pulling a 7500# travel trailer - I don't put alot of cargo in the back - just wanted the GVWR & power of a V10!! Anybody out there with the Roadmaster on a 250? I'm planning to install mine when it's time to rotate the tires. Just wanted to hear any feedback on someone that's already done it!

Thanks,

Jim

Well, I don't have it. But I am very interested in knowing how you like this product on your F250. Please post your results. Thank you.

Roadmaster Active Suspension & F250

From what I've read about the Roadmaster Active Suspension I thought it is similar to an overload spring. Neither one of them is used until you put a load on. Maybe the Roadmaster would start working earlier than the overload though. I guess I would stay with the overload, but I've already have that Maybe you could put the Roadmaster on and try it out and compare the two. I guess I'm a little suprised they make one for the 1999 and up Super Duties, I didn't think they did the last I looked, but that's been a while. Good Luck.
