I for one would never look into a car and driver mag for which truck is the best. Come to think of it...I wouldnt look into any mag because i already know the answer! Built Ford Tough

Man if I had a nickle for every letter written to an automotive publication cancelling their subscription because the reader disagreed with the test results I'd be a rich man. These results are purely subjective and should be veiwed as such. You will ultimately make the final decision when the time comes to buy based on what you need and like. And this notion that just because something is manufactured in the U.S. that it is a superior product is just simply flawed.Yes american producers make some exellent products, but they are not always the best!!!!

man I cant beleive how much fuss every body is making over the speed differance between the F150 and the titan my issue of motor trend shows only 1.2 seconds differance 0 to 60 1 second not that important to me if I want to race I get the mustang out of the garage and it will race . Love my 04 F 150 crew 4x4

I love ford products, but I would trade my new F-150 for half of a nissan titan. I had a chance to drive one the other day. In my opinon the beat The f150 is everything. Even the stereo is fricken better. I'm actually really ****ed at Ford... Very dissapointed because to me nissan is poo. But they sure flung a huge peice right in Fords Face.

Saw a Titan up close for the first time last night, I went to open the door & the first thing I noticed was the giant cheap fake chrome plastic door handle. I shut the door & walked away, I had seen enough.

Thirty years from now two guys will be sittin on the tailgate of their Chevy/Ford/Dodge truck, drinkin a cold one sayin "Hey man Remember the Titan?", and the other will say "Wasnt that a movie about a football team?"

Chevy will not win until they come out with some "Late Great Technology". They had their 15min with QuadraSteer, and Ford is having their share since they are the bets selling trucks. Nissans are like Fireworks, they come out with something and everyone goes "OOOOOOO AHHHHHH", but in the end, the Big Three fires will still be burning. I'm a Chevy guy, but i also like Fords, a Nissan will never call my place home. Just my opinion....

You guy's! How come no one compares anything to the Chevy or Dudge? I just sold my 03' 6.0 Diesel and bought a new F-150 but not until I had tried out some of the so called competition. If you look into the Titan with a tow package, it only comes with the 4:10 gearing. My F-150 has the 3:73 with limited slip 4x4. Figure out the mileage on the Titan when your empty most of the time. I got 17 and 16.9 the first two tank fulls in snow, ice and elevations from 5800' to 11,000' in and out of 4 wheel drive. Driving the Titan, I have to agree it has plenty of snap off the line and is a nice smooth ride, but I went back and drove it again. I now own the Ford. If I want to read about trucks I go to a truck magazine, but to each his own. But I agree, competition makes for a better product for all of us.

They have a right to their opinion and if you enjoy their mag there really is no reason to stop your subscription. I personally have never liked C and D and quite frankly don't feel their opinion is un- biased. But then again neither is mine. I never pay much attention to the critics(except I know to go see the Movies the Critics don't like) and prefer to make my own evaluations.

Anyone who buys a truck based on an article in a magazine rather than actual test drives can't be that bright. Test them, run them, look at them hard. Buy what you like. Be happy. I can't stand Better Homes and Gardens either.

I wish Nissan (and Toyota and Honda, etc) would just go away. I miss my Pinto, Vega, and Gremlin.
