another header question '56f100 with s/b ch**vy

I am in the process of building a '56 f100 and have completed the MII IFS and 4-bar rear suspension. I have a s/b ch**vy engine and 700R4 tranny (sorry) mounted and am now thinking about exhaust and steering linkage. I want to use a full length header as opposed to the block huggers if possible. I think that Sanderson C3 headers might work, but look like they would be pretty close to the inside face of the frame (I have~6" from the mounting flange of the header to the inside face of the frame). Has anyone been down this road before?

Hi

I think you need to do your steering installation before you can make a good decision about exhaust manifolds. It dosn't matter what engine you have the exhaust has to clear the steering shaft.
