234 V8

I am about to start rebuilding a 1951 Willis Jeep Pickup that my Great Grandfather bought in 1950. It currenlty has a worn out Ford 234 ingine in it and I am looking for information and advise. Do I keep that engine in it and try and rebuild or just go back with a new rebuild engine??? I am looking at this for a hunting rig which is what by GGF used it for.

Thanks for the info!

Of course, rebuild it! They're dependable engines and you've got lots of company - well not in jeeps, but running flatheads abound.

Contact Red's Headers in CA for rebuilding info and materials - they're great people to deal with. Patrick's Antique Auto Parts in AZ is also a good'n.
