I did have custom paint job on it, ordered new lip moldings and had lower body painted black, it looks sooooo cool.

Dirt shows less on the tans and grays. Light blue and red shades aren't too bad. And IMO, a dirty white will always look cleaner than a dirty black.
Somewhere I heard that the most popular color is white. I've also heard that white brings the best resale, and it is the easiest to repair/match.

NO DOUBTS...ARIZONA BEIGE METALLIC
Hi everybody......
In my 35 years of owning and driving all types AND COLORS of vehicles.....I can HONESTLY say that Ford's ARIZONA BEIGE METALLIC exterior paint has been BY FAR.....the VERY EASIEST to clean and keep clean....and when it does get dirty, it still looks pretty clean.
Other Ford Colors that would get my "second best" vote are the metallic silver and the oxford white.
If you like to keep a clean vehicle.....and have nothing better to do with your time than wash your truck every other day....I would go with one of Ford's darker colors.....like dark torreador red metallic, dark green metallic.....or if you enjoy self torture, go with the black.
As with most things......vehicles, options, exterior colors, and interior colors are VERY individually oriented things of choice. As the saying goes, "Different strokes for different folks..."

I have the dark toreador red. It looked really nice, until I washed it but didn't wipe off the water. I was horrified to see how badly the water marks stood out. I ended up waxing it. It really looks great otherwise. I think I'll try that Mr. Clean auto washer I've seen advertised lately. It uses a couple filters on the rinse side which is supposed to eliminate the need for wiping the vehicle dry after washing.
Not to change the thread, but has anyone tried it?

My two previous trucks were both oxford white and I agree that they are super easy to clean. The first truck got taken off road thru some alder bushes, had to bring in the mirrors to keep them from getting broke. My dad saw the truck after that and said why did you ruin that truck, only 2 years old. A coat of wax later and the dealer said that truck is in great shape and the finish is perfect. If the truck had been black or dark no way I could have hid those marks.
When I got the 04 the dealer had the exact same truck as mine only difference it was white not blue. Did not want to be the guy in the white truck again, nobody would have even noticed that I changed trucks.

medium tan beige is the easiest color to "keep" clean i.e. meaning all the paint colors get dirty at the same rate but the light to medium tan paint colors are best at hiding dirt. So champagne beige is the one to get if you dont want to wash often. (or similar color regardless of brand) IMO.
