Question 302 carb to EFI engine swap in 1988

Can anyone point me in a direction where I can find info on making this swap. I've picked up a 1988 f150 which has a blown 302 with carb but would like to swap in a 302 with fuel injection. All info is appreciated.

u will need to find a complet FI engine with all the computer and everything and then put in a new highpressure pump and i dont know if u would need high pressurelines or not. if u do the swap i wouldnt mind having the carb and manifold off your blown motor.

Someone had to convert it over to carb at one point, so you'll have to see what they took out and what they left behind, and go from there. It would probably be easiest to go to a junkyard and find a truck like yours to take all the parts off of that you need.

This man is correct. In 1988 all F-150's with the 302 were EFI.
