Wondering if anyone has the same problem as I do, when going up hills I experience a loss of power. Press on the accelerator and no acceleration (oddly, only on certain hills).

Go to this thread, read completely…. and post.
ODOMETER reading at time of problem is critical.
In addition, please read more instructions, bottom of first page, posted by Tim L
Tell as many as you can about this thread.
The simpler the writing (posting) of “problem/odometer” reading………….the easier it will be to collate. Do not need many words. I must reduce all the date into a usable format; extra words will take more time to complete.

loss of power
I have had an F-250 6.0 since 5/03. It is now in the shop for the third time for the exact same problem.
I lose power, usually going up hills. The engine dose not shut off, usually, but I lose power for about 4-5 seconds. During this time I have noticed that the "wait to crank" light comes on, and the engine temp guage goes to cold.
Pressing the accelerator during this time gets no power or acceleration.
This has even happened on Interstate 75 south of Atlanta on the inside lane, going 70 miles per hour. The danger was to both myself and my daughter who was in the truck with me.
I will be starting repurchase/replacement discussions in the near future.
