4.0 V-6 Exhaust Manifold Bolt Torque Specs

Hello all,

I recently replaced an exhaust manifold gasket on my 1994 Ford Ranger equipped w/ a 4.0 L V-6, and am in need of the torque specifications for the six (6) manifold bolts. Is there an online service manual somewhere where I can access this information? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Tighten in two steps.
1) tighten to 15-22 ft lbs.
2) then tighten to 52-59 ft lbs.
I'd run it for awhile and then retorque.

Thanks so much! I noticed an exhaust leak the other day from the left side manifold, and was surprised to see that there was no gasket in place after pulling the manifold. The same is true for the right side. I didn't think that it was possible to achieve a metal-to-metal contact seal on exhaust manifolds, but the factory did this. Interesting. Thanks again!

Yeah,
I worked on a friends Dodge that was like that. No gaskets just machine fit.
