back window

hey everyone. my friend has an 89 bronco and the back window doesn't work. he says its not the switch or the motor and can't figure out what else it could be. any ideas??

Try pushing in on the tailgate while trying to work both switches. If this works, the safety switch may be bad (or the gate wasn't closed all the way). That's the next thing I'd try.

The wires/wire could have broken?? Happen to my 89.

I am kinda in the same situation..I have an 86 that had just been sitting after it took a bath in a lake a few years ago..I just got it back the other day from a complete engine and tranny rebuild..Now i am off to getting the window's working again..I got the driver's side going by taking it apart and cleaning it..But had no luck with the pass side it was way past cleaning i did attempt it with the roto tool but no luck!Now i am stuck as far as the back window go's how the heck do you get the motor out of this thing????Any help would be appreciated!!
