Locating fuel tank capacity

91 F-150 5.0 XLT Supercab 4x4 w/ dual tanks. How do I find out the capacity of the tanks. I hear the front is either 17 or 19 gallon. It appears to make a difference to the pump. Thanks.
I found with the wheel base measurement the Ford parts guy can tell me the capacities. Odd, but simple enough.

I like 79s idea actually, like it alot, easy Problem with sypohning the fuel out guys is the screen in the tank, at the inlet. I cannot get a hose down far enough to get out any amount of fuel that might make an actual differance.

lift the bed. i did both my pumps. the hard part was that it was 120 degrees out, i live in arizona. it took me about 1 hour, if that, to lft the bed, i used a cherry picker and a couple of 2X6s. after the bed ws off it only took about 20 minutes to do both pumps. then i simply backed under the bed and had the wife help as i lowered it back down. to bad it wasnt only 80 out when i did it.

I cannot seem to be able to figure out a way to undo the bolts holding it on. It is not a square head on top, and the bottom, well I can get to that with a u-joint and some extensions....but just use vice grips on the top?
