ok, i want to upgrade the brakes on my 02 lariat by putting the lightning rotors on it, the rear brakes are the same already. but i called the ford dealership and the spindles are the same also so all i need are the caliper brackets, rotors, and calipers(no problen since i work at O'reilly's) but i want to make sure that the brakes will fit in my wheels, i know an L has like 18 inch wheels but if i have to upgrade my wheels to fit the brakes i don't think i'll be able to get them(i think maybe it'll fit because i have 17 inch wheels but i have to make sure first.) thanks in advance, justin

 

Try and find out the diameter of the rotor of then new brakes, and then measure how much room is in your wheel.

 

It will fit , i got 16 inch for my slicks !

 

well i looked around in the computer at work and i think i found that the lightning brakes are the same as the brakes on an expy. but only if the nascar truck has the same rotors, a local wreckin yard also says the caliper brackets are the same from L to expy
