Talking w00t! 80,000 miles!

Yee haw!

Just rolled over 80,000 miles on the ol' Expy.

She's getting an oil change, vacuuming, and a good wash.

Here's to 80,000 more!

I have never seen 80k on an Expedition - the one we just picked up already has 118,000 on it

Congrats... Gonna get drunk or hire a stripper for the occasion?

Nah, my booze-and-stripper fund has run dry. Too much booze. No strippers.

I need to strike a balance somewhere...

Yo! MaaaaTT. Sorry had to do that as I have a brother named Matt. Anyway just turned 108K on my "97". Only minor problems, nothing to write home about. Just did the plugs for the first time WOW! not fun at all. If I could find the Ford designer that designed the engine and the layout of the plugs and fuel rails I would drag him naked through the streets with his lips zip-tied around my exhaust pipe!. Designers should have to work in a service bay for six months before they can design anything. Love the Expy and I hope I get another 100K.

The4x4freak beat us out. We have 127,9xx on our 97 Expy. Still runs like a raped ape. Just put our 3rd COP (coil on plug) on it and hope it is the last!

Thumbs up 2001 Expy with 86000

New to this site and excited about my 2001 Expedition xlt. I have just turned over 86000 miles using KN air filter and frequent oil/filter changes using Mobil1 5w30 and KN oil filters. Very happy!

Congrats Matt! I just changed the oil this morning in mine and the OD reads 81,115. It runs so nice. These Expy's run so nice even as they get older. Ford Rules!

Congratulations Matt! I have a 98 Expy with 187,000. This is absolutely the best and most comfortable vehicle that I have ever owned. Hope you get another 80,000+ out of yours. I'm looking for 300,000.

Congratulations to all especially those with over 100,000+ miles. Never thought of it but I've owned an Aerostar (120,000 miles, tranny went, sold the car), Explorer (120,000 miles, cylinders 2 and 4 blew, bought a remanufactured engine - my daily commute) and my 99 Expy XLT so far has 126,000 miles and she's running great. Best truck I've ever owned so far.

Here's to less problems and more fun miles for us Expy/Navigator owners....

Drive Safe,
Dan
