"Fenders, you "always" have to make fun of the color, I guess it should of been cookie cutter red..... -4speed"

4Speed,

You know I'm just messing with you. Actually, turquoise is probably my second favorite "Martha Stewart" truck color. Baby blue is my favorite soft color.

Well, I know it's still new, but I really like my new Sony XPlode CD player. I've read a lot of bad things here about Sony, but mine sounds great and the remote is way cool. And for $129 it did not break the bank. John

Thanks, this is one of my favorite threads ever Kevin. I have considered changing out my "CAG" steering wheel a number of times over the years. But if I do, then Junior wins right?

'fenders

too cool for a good steering wheel.

Here's the steering wheel I bought from So-Cal Speed Shop. It basically looks like the cheap wheels with a blue metal flake rim. But it was $100.00. If I run this I will be painting the spokes white. This wheel kind of fits my truck because it'll have a little bit of hot rod in it's dna.

But I'm not sure I'm going to run this one or not. I've been thinking about picking up a stock 53-55 wheel and cut the rim off of it and make a smaller diameter one. I like the looks of the stock wheel but would want a smaller diameter.

I'm not into the fancy billet stuff.

Both of my '49s had GM columns. I've always liked the Camaro steering wheel. I'll remove the Chevy horn logo and replace it with a blue oval.
