Sterling differiential 10.25

I have a 93 F250 with 4:10 gearing it has a sterling 10.25 rear axle and it is an open differential. Will a 10.5 trac-loc out of a 2000 model F350 interchange with the open differential that I now have?

From what I have read the Detroits have the same part # for both axles. WIth that said. I would call the Ford Dealer and get part #'s for each axle. If they are the same there is your answer. I would seriously look at having an aftermarket installed unless there is too much savings for the stocker.

If you've got huge tires than don't get the stocker but if you have moderate sized tires ..or even stock...the stock LS is fine.
