Yup. Id like to have mine painted but a more realistic goal for me would be primed. Why is it the bodymans/mechanics vehicles are always the last to get attention?
I have never been to one of these events, so how soon should I make hotel reservation's? I'am going, even if my truck is not ready yet. Since it is in May I may just ride the motorcycle up if the 63 ain't ready.
Better start now, many have been doing already- several threads on SuperNats in 53-56 Forum, also you have to book rooms (well maybe not HAVE TO-but thats what they are asking for) through www.f100supernationals.com
last year was my first time and it is definitely a Great Time-nothing but F100's - so very cool.

I'll drive up Friday and go straight to the show. Staying at the Hilton on Church Street Friday night and driving home Saturday evening. Would like to hook up with some FTE'rs for drinks and maybe dinner. Probably won't drive the truck, I get 10MPG and gas just keeps going up!

We had already made reservations for Pigion Forge but it will not be too long of a drive. I figure there will still be a lot of trucks there since it has been held there for so long. Looking forward to it.
I'm gonna drive my 54 f100 up to Knoxville. Just got the duals on it with Sanderson Headers and a carb rebuild, should make the trip from Greer S.C. a little easier on the old 239.
I've never been to this show...what exactly does the official registration ($25.00) form for Knoxville Supernats do for you? I'm not planning on putting the truck in for judging.
Ed
ps...Sanderson headers and duals (2.25 inch) with 40 series dual chamber Flowmasters sound awesome with the little 239 block!!!

Ed, I'd save my 25 bucks. If you enter your truck you will have to find alternative transportation to and from the Hotel. I don't think they will have a shuttle and unless you find a Hotel close to the show you could wind up afoot.

I don't think thats the case - it may have been in the past becuase of limited space, but I think this year theres even drive up (or by?) judging. I won a trophy last year and cruised every night. The registration gets you participation, a pin and some other goodies, it also means you don't have to pay to see the trucks inside the show area, which this year means probably all of the trucks, unlike previous years when 1/2 the trucks were out side the too small show & vendor area. Hey- it's only $25.00- it's a show of support if nothing else. Unfortunately I have to skip this year due to work and family committments. But I'll be there again. What a Blast!
