turbo blue questions

turbo blue questions

ok high school nationals are coming up this spring and im going to be doing a few mods to my ranger over the winter.(headders,intake chip (maybe)
i am wondering when i go to run it could i use turbo blue (racing gas) i think its 100 - 110 octain? and will it eat the seals, rings, yadda yadda. so please help.

Higher octane gasoline will not give you any more power.....

In vehicles with knock sensors, however, the performance can
be improved slightly using a higher octane gasoline, due to the
ignition timing being advanced further....

It can make a big diff if you are running a turbo or supercharger. You can run higher boost on that stuff without detonation. Unless you have an extremely high compression engine or a power adder it probably wont do much.

i know it wont make tha tbig of a diffrence but will it eat my seals and rings? i have heard this rumor befor just want to make shure its not true
