Does anyone know what the frame width is on a 79 F250 4x4. I am buying a used plow and need to know what the measurments of the frame are to get the right one. I believe I need outside to outside. I would measure mine but it is not accessible at the moment. It is buried in the back of the barn.

Well we have snow on the ground so I did not want to lay on the ground so I got my measurements from the front of the spring perches outside to outside is 35 inches inside to inside is 27 1/2
Hope that helps the spring perches go directly to the frame so that should be O.K.

 

Thanks. The plow I have found is a Meyers and they have told me that the frame measures 35" to 35 1/2" They said it is hard to measure since it isn't bolted to anything. So it should be OK.
