gooseneck vs. fifth wheeler
#16
im about to get into the car hauling business, transporting cars nationwide.im looking to get a 4 car trailer and I havent decided yet which kind of hitch is best to use for this type of towing. would a fifth wheel hitch be better or a goosneck hitch? which makes my drive/ride smoother and has less complications? can someone give me some tips on this please?

A four car hauler I would go 5er. You end up with a lot of wieght up high which is where the gooseneck doesnt perform as well. If you were sticking with a straight deck three car trailer a g/n would be ok. But to go 4 cars you have to have one up on the hitch. With that car up on the hitch a 5er will be much more stable.
You should be able to get the trailer w/ both hitches.
BTW: Welcome to FTE!!
