You cant really tell by that. Measure the bore. According to my book, it could be:

1. 360 / 390
2. 428
3. 330MD
4. 330HD
5. 361/391 FT

What did it come out of? I know it's not a 332 or a 352. My guess would be 360/390.

i dont think it can be a 69 if, the blocks casting is C6M, ive read all over the C stands for 60's the next # 6 stands for the year in the 60's making it a 66, i may be wrong but thats what my book tells me how to de-code casting #'s

you are right fordman 428 but ford was all ****ed up when they made these engines. Its about as dumb as having 352 on all the blocks.

I see .010 marked on the crank which means she's been ground on before, it also has had little weights attached to it. The rods have been shaved on for whatever reason...

The 2v intake is the original from 1970, there's a d2 exhuast manifold, d2ea heads. The block is a pre 72 item. I just ripped this outta my 4wheel drive so I imgaine it most likely a 360. Or some one reground a 428 crank and internally balenced it... hehe, yeah right!

Thanks for the responses so far
