Thumbs up Postmaster

Alfred!!!!!

This thread is to be used for two things.

1st - in order to satisfy the rules of FTE, it is to be used for truck discussion only.

2nd - (actually it's main purpose) Is to help Jimmy Dean reach 2000 posts!!!!!

So lets all keep our message lengths to a minumum, keep the topic mainly on trucks, and let Jimmy Dean post away to the glorious "Postmaster" title.

Alfred??

Trucks are good things to have. They pull stuff more than cars.

Ya know, MAC makes a set of headers for our trucks for under 300 bucks...well, like 312 with shipping. You just gotta call them up and order them, BUT they take like 4-6 weeks to get to ya. After I get an Intake, Exhaust, and a Chip (re-tuned of course) I am getting some headers. Hopefully I will have them by next year! I've never had a set of headers, and I'd luuuv to get some.

Ya know, this is like the 4th post and Jimmy hasn't even had one yet! C'mon Jimmy!

Trucks have 4 wheels and ride pretty smooth. I like the windows...nice attribute.

Not sure if they are ceramic coated or not. I think they are if I remember correctly. Go to:

www.macperformance.com

https://www.ford-trucks.com/framered...erformance.com

go to 'contact us' for the phone number and give 'em a call.

Well, I ahve only been able to test them out in the rain, or wet pavement, as it was snowing while I was getting them put on.. and yes a notable differance. the same with nothing in the back as it used to act with about 200lbs of wieght over the rear axle. gets good traction, I can tell a noticable differance in the effort it takes to spin the tires. Even on wet pavement. And they look GREAT.....just wish they had a little smaller sidewall. but the 60 series where was to small.

That's good news about the tires Jimmy! Tires generally help a truck out as far as going forward and backward.

Tires also help in turning too Joe. Turning is important also, especially when you have to make a turn.

Do you notice a turning/cornering improvement Alfred?

Because i'm pretty sure that tires help you turn also. They are also good in going forwards and backwards, as Joe indicated.
