!994 wont start-what gives?

!994 wont start-what gives?

This mornign i went out to start my truck and let it warm up but it wouldn't start. i hot wired it to one of the bolts on the starter solenoid by the battery, the front threaded prong and it started then. is my key ignition screwed or what? im gonna try the little covered prong tomorrow if it dont start. then ill let u guys know what happens then. if anyone has had this let me know. thanks

Could be the solenoid you jumped, gad the samething on my 95 F-250

Turn the key and nothing would happen, jumpthe first two terminals on the solenoid and it would start even in gear.

Change it that will fix your problem.
