Is this possible?
Fleet sales guy e-mailed me today...said I have a week of 22 Dec build. I thought week of the 15th was last build week before x-mas shutdown? He said that while they do a "shut(slow)down", it's not a full closing as some folks will still be working. Any one have the real scoop?

Found out that plant will be full bore until the evening of the 23rd. So with a build "week" of the 22nd and the closing/shutdown evening of 23rd what are my chances of truck being out the door? Even though plant will be closed "IF" my truck gets out the door do the shippers continue, ie: trains and haulers? I'm in Memphis, TN so I would assume transport time would be under 10 days. Reason I'm so anxious is I'm hoping to get before the 2nd (Jan) when most rebates expire. I think most will be extended but.......

I'm almost positive all rebates/incentives are from the actual delivery/inservice date. There are some dealers that will "guarentee" those numbers....not many thou cause if rebates go down they they would have to suck up the loss. From all I have read/heard don't see rebates moving much one way or another (up or down) and think they will be extended. When I ordered mine the rebate was $1500 and it's up to $2000 so even if it drops back to the $1500 I really havn't lost...I guess is one to look at it. The other bonus I was hoping for was the x-plan buyer $500 rebate that expires 2 Jan 04. Right now with a delivery before 2 jan I am looking at $2000 rebate, $500 x-plan and $750 military for a total of $3250 below x-plan price...

Mizzou.....Military rebate is a FMC incentive...as far as X-plan that is for suppliers/partners of FMC...you have to be involved one way or another with suppliers of FMC to get a PIN...etc. Do a search on here and you'll get a bunch of info on it. My wife happens to work for a Ford partner company.
