My new Weiand Stealth 8012 std.(not CJ/SCJ 8021) intake manifold look very tall. Will it and carb fit under the hood of my '76 F250 4x4 with L&L engine mounts?

 

Should clear just fine. I have a Stealth on the 460 in my 2wd 78 and it clears just fine with a Holley carb, drop-base air cleaner and a 2 1/2" filter.

 

They do look very tall but it should fit just fine. I put one in a van that has very little room. I used a Moroso drop base air filter. Even the kick down with reach fine with just a slight tweak to make it reach.

 

if it winds up too tall, switch to motor mounts for 67 ranchero with a 390. just open up the holes in the mounts slightly and open the pedestal holes slightly, and they bolt up perfectly. this puts the motor down in the bay about 1 to 1 1/2 inches farther than L and L mounts.

 

My stock mounted 75 F150 has a Stealth and it fits great with a 4" air filter with a 1" drop base. Hard to tell exactly, but looks like I have about 1" clearance from the hood.
