Cool If you're ever in Georgia - listen to THIS

If you're ever in Georgia and you hear this sound - you'll know I'm close by.....

Finally got Harrison's rumble uploaded. Sounds pretty rough (Lunati long duration / overlap cam) but most S-10's don't harrass me any more....they just sort of "sneak by" hoping I won't see them and whomp on it....

This wav file is located at <http://www.beedzncomputers.com/truck/truck.html> and is Harrison when I first crank him up...click on the "Harrison speaks" button.

Geez! Don't they have mufflers down there? Heh, heh. I haven't had a chance to uncork my new collectors dumps yet.

beartracks ~

War har har har.......this is with Thrush glasspax ON!! I have no idea how noisy it'd be with 'em off!! I don't throttle him when there are state troopers around.

If my wife is in the truck, though, we cannot have a conversation at speeds over 40MPH.

You should have heard it when the muffler exits were directly under my seat!! (now they're under the bed towards the rear)

Thanks for listening. No gear drive; I'm only using a Cloyes Double Roller Set. The rest of the engine has balanced and blue-printed at a local speed shop. Nothing too wild, but built basically like a top...

Thanks ranger429, yours sounds like rolling thunder; mine sounds like Godzilla with PMS?

... Whatever it sounds like, a few local porshes (spelling?) and ricers know not to mess with me. I shut them down whenver ***I*** want to. Not too often, though, at 10 MPG and I have to drive 110 miles a day.....

Snow fighter, it sound like you need cutouts
laptopgeek,
it sounds like an corsaire or a P51-D mustang on the WAV file. I still like it though.
I would love to hear Harison in person.
If you come up here you will bring him right?.?.?.

F150daniel ~

H'mmm, I notice you're in South Carolina - right next to me. I might be able to drive him over there - probably on the way to the F100 Nationals next year if I don't take my wife to London instead. I'll bring him over once I get the cab installed and painted MUSTANG SCREAMING YELLOW that I'm working on now...

Thanks for the kudos - he does sound good; I'm hoping my 15 years of engine building had something to do with it

Mil1ion ~ are you referring to the wild F100 making those tremendous burnouts?....I couldn't do that on my $700+ Michelins, but he can BURN rubber whenever I want him too...

Laptopgeek,
you ever go to the Fun ford weeked at Atlanta drag way?
you can find out what Harrison runs.
There's a pesky ricer near my house that Harrison can play with. (a near stock civic)
