Talking Listen to Harrison speak

Finally got Harrison's rumble uploaded. Sounds pretty rough (Lunati long duration / overlap cam) but most S-10's don't harrass me any more....they just sort of "sneak by" hoping I won't see them and whomp on it....

This wav file is located at <http://www.beedzncomputers.com/truck/truck.html> and is Harrison when I first crank him up...click on the "Harrison speaks" button.

Enjoy....

Mark, I'd love to hear Harrison but the link produces no sound. All that comes up are 3 pics of your L&L motor mounts. On a side note, what do you use to record and upload sound (wav files) onto your computer? I'd like to get some sounds of my 466 on here.

Upon edit:

I found the wav file, it's the link under the "Bunny ~ the Lincoln" link. Sounds pretty good.

Thanks for the kudos. Isn't the internet neat? Can't wait to hear your ride, too....

I used the same software that I used to create the web page with it's version 7 of Netlink; software that I've been using for years....

What did you use to record the sound?

Also, what are the specs on your engine? Any power numbers yet (engine or chassis dyno)? Once I repair the rear axle in my truck and get my other carb on the engine (which requires hood surgery) I will probably run it on a chassis dyno to see how much power is getting to the ground.

Ford79 ~

I just used a standard cassette recorder sitting about 10 feet from the back bumper and got my wife to crank him up. Then I connected the recorder to my server and imported the sound as a wav file. No power numbers, except I know it'd do over 100 with no problem.

Speaking of Bunny, I have pics of the engine after I removed it on my gallery. Also Mark you should have been there when I retired Bunny from the road. I never knew a metal shreader made so much noise and sparks. LOL I know a little cruel but no one wanted her after I removed the engine and tranny. I still need to do a sound wave for my rebuild of the 460.

Airharley - oooooh, you're so cruel!! How could you tell me something like that? (I'll try and keep this information about the shredder away from my wife!! :-)) Yes, please let us hear Bunny's new engine!!

Thudpucker - animal is right... you ought to see the looks I get when people pull up next to me. Hey --- you ought to see the looks when this "old dump" blows them away and they are dis-appearing in the rear view mirror!!
