When I was younger and doing the bar scene. I always ordered two beers when we first got there. The first one I breathed in to get me into the swing of things. so the bar tender started calling me tewferfrank. So I dropped the r- a- n-k and put in o- r- d.
I just wanted to fit in with the good ol Ford boys.

mine's simple, it was rebellion. dad's a lifetime chevy driver and i was in hs trying to come up with something for a juno email (back in the day when you dialed up everytime you sent a msg) and it fit. i had a POS 83 f100 at first and HATED it, then bought my 85 f150 for $300 and HATED it but when i wrecked it, i missed it (it's a standard and put back together ) i never have had anything other than ford since that first one so ford 4 life and of course 69 was something ALL the hs kids talked abt but no one knew if they REALLY knew what it meant. it stuck. i haven't EVER been turned down on a site i've registered with this name on. i fully well expected it to be taken when i found fte but lucky me, it's not. i even registered on the vette forum under ford4life69 so i cld do a post search for something my friend wanted me to see and they approved it! of course, i never posted under it and likely won't.

If you've ever read Outdoor Life, then you've heard of Patrick F. McManus. He's an outdoorsman/humorist writer. Some of his stories are real classics. They get me laughing so hard that sometimes I can't breath. Anyway, I was reading a story of his about how he and his wife "Bun" were out berry picking and he was driving his truck "Hoss" and how he had to put the spurs to him to get him up this particular hill.
It stuck with me and I guess you can say that the rest is history........or plagerism.
