04 ford f150 fx4 flareside

Has anyone seen the flareside in all black without
the shadow grey lower panel?
Does it come in all black like the styleside?
I am working out the details with the dealer.
However, he does not know *****.

Please help.

I should know but, thats a reall good question!

I don't see anything indicating that its standard that way. Only if you get two tone, oddly I don't see any styleside that are two tone to prove it the other way. I will find out for you!

Flareside Color Options

According to the 2004 F-150 Order Guide you can get a flareside in a solid monotone color. But that's only when you get the STX or XLT trim. All FX4 flaresides are two-tone and have Dark Shadow Gray as the lower color. A black FX4 still looks mostly all black since the lower Dark Shadow Gray (CX code) goes well with black.

You can't get a flareside in an XL or Lariat trim.

Hope this info helps.

They are not add ons, its is paint. I can confirm this is the only way it can be ordered on a flareside. I have a picture of an fx4 in a brouchure that is all silver and body color bumpers but apparently its a fluke because it must have dark grey two tone in flareside.

aldridgec,

That's an STX flareside. The front and rear bumpers are color keyed on all STX models. The STX and FX4 share the same grill.
