Mine was the same way. An older man owned it and I'm the "2nd" owner. It went to auction after him and I got it from a local dealer. There is a stack of recipts in the glove box and the manual that was with it has all the service listed in the back of it here by a local ford dealer.

Unfortunately Ohio weather has taken a toll on the paint and body in some areas but otherwise, it's perfect!

you got a good deal man. if i can find a way to post pix of mine, i think everyone will be very impressed for the price i paid.

my sons 89 ranger which has a bronco 2 motor in it now, hasnt had any problems other than wiring. it uses less than half a quart of oil inbetween oil changes, and the wiring ot to close to the exhaust manifold. it appears to be a strong little motor

hey Tim,

did ford have a factory dark forest green metalflake in 1985? my bronco is a dark forest green metalflake, and oim not sure if its a factory paint or a repaint. the paint is like brand new though, all of the jambs, underhood, ect all match. even under the rubber moldings around the jambs.

just curious.

Clueless, however this forum is so good for this kind of information.
We will probably know before too long

it would be a cool color
