why does ford sell stripped trucks in Texas?

over time ive noticed that all the 92-96 F-150's ive seen from texas, dont have the aluminum on the tailgates, or the moldings on the sides. & theyr XLT's.. not XL's... my friend from san antonio had an XLT like that, and he asked why my dads truck had the aluminum on the tailgate.. then tonight i noticed again.. on ebay looking at explorers, all the XLS's from texas dont have fender flairs? anyone notice this on any othe vehicles... and is there a reason for it?

FordF100, u may want to go to the general discussion forum, will probably get alot more of a response there. Ive noticed that this forum doesnt get that much response from time to time. The very first forum that u come to is general discussion, check it out.

Ford

Being from TX I know what you are talking about. They market it as a TX/OKL package. They stack them pretty deep on most of the dealers lots. As for why I do not know.
