Brake Booster

I am wondering if someone knows of the specs for play for the Brake Booster rod on a 1989 F-350

remove the master cylinder from the booster then with the engine running measure from the booster housing to the tip of the rod. Distance should be between .980 and 995 inches. Adjust the rod length by turning the threaded adjustment cap.
