Gibson exhaust

I am looking at a SS Gibson Exhaust. It says that the install is bolt on. Am I better off having this done at an exhaust shop or can I just do the bolt on myself? Thanks.

ok take my advice pay somebody to install it. Look at it this way its easier to pay sombody who knows how and can have it done in a hour or so, than to spend hours trying to break loose rusted bolts. I thought i could do it no problem, i got the muffler off and stuff then i tried to put the flowmaster on and i go so pissed off that i went and got it done the right way. if that helps

I have Gibson SS exhaust on both my Xs. Installed them both myself with a floor jack and stands in about 1 hr each. If your old bolts aren't too bad, the new system is a cinch to install. I would say getting the old one off is the hardest part. If you have no mechanical experience, get a shop to do it for you.
p.s. nice exhaust, BTW

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will have to take a look at the exhuast that is on there now to see what kind of job it will be to get it off.
