Question 04 Still Have Rancho Shocks?

ANYONE KNOW IF THEY ARE STILL USING RANCHOS? ALSO, I HEAR THE LARIAT HAS THE SAME SHOCKS, YOU JUST HAVE TO ORDER SKID PLATES TO MATCH A FX4.

GOT A LARIAT ON ORDER, I SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW!!

FX4 has Rancho shocks.
Lariat does not have Rancho shocks.
Lariat with skid plates gets LT tire option no Rancho.

Too bad they really aren't Rancho's at all. They're really junk Motorcraft shocks with a Rancho sticker on them.

2003 had Ranchos and nowhere in any of the Ford specs do you see Ranchos on the 04. I was hoping for someone who really knew, maybe someone who works for Ford would know the real answer. I have driven both 2004 Lariat and FX4, you cant tell the difference. The shocks have no markings, just plain black. I will probably wait for Rancho to offer shocks for the new truck and maybe slap some on to give them a try.

I ordered a Lariat SC 4X4 anyway with skid plates and the 18" LT tires. You get more stuff for the money and I think it looks both Classy and tough.

Hate the cream leather!! How about taupe or grey option? probably next year.
