no idle

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger, 3.0L engine that won't cold idle.
Is there a sensor or something I should be looking to replace? Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

has a MIL come up? Will it idle fine if you keep it in a garage overnight, or if it's warm out overnight?

Welcome to FTE!!!

I would suspect the IAC (idle control valve), it should cause a check engine light if its bad.
