You might want to check with the 351W engine forum for the best tips for your engine.

Is the bore in that good a condition that you don't need to bore it oversize?

I would go with cleveite bearings, i would get pistons with a comp ratio of about 11:1. Compresion will raise the horsepower and torque level, all accross the board.

if the cylinders are egg shaped or scared up then you will need to bore

the reason i wasnt sure if i was going to bore out or not is because i didnt know if i was going to use the block i had and bore it or just get one that is already clean and good and stuff but i decided to go and spend a little for a new one

The summit kit is used by many people with good results, it contains all quality parts. Yeah if you have a fresh block then I can understand why an overbore isn't needed, I thought it odd that someone chose not to overbore a block, not too many folks buy new block. Where did you find the fresh block and did you get a good deal?

The pistons you choose depand on wheather or not your going to be blown or nitrous or NA? Forged is best, JE are good pistons...but I would not try to make my HP with high compression, with 11 to 1 for a street motor, your just looking for detonation problems.
