That tire wear could be caused by improper camber adjustments. It could also be toed out, a lot, to cause that. Perhaps both adjustments are out, causing that. Have you had the alignment checked? If so, what did they say?

I have never traveled to Alaska, but I have talked to folks that have. All of them told me that some the roads to get there are very bad.

with toe out/in adjustment you usually get a feathering wear on tires across all the tread, Wear isolated to inner or outer edge is from Camber adjustment

2004 f250 crew cab GAS

Well im getting ready to get a new truck but this one is still running!!!
309,836.00 miles and still has original clutch / Exhaust / and spark plugs LOL.
I didnt want to change them after all the trouble i heard other people having with the 5.4 triton. Right now at about 302,000 miles the engine light came on and the mechanic's computer said bank #2 is running rich?? and cylinder #5 is misfired or i guess misfiring since it is running a little ruff!! Over all i feel blessed to have put this many miles on a truck with not much needing to be replaced. I have a question also! would it be accurate to figure on not getting even half that mileage on a automatic transmission without any serious re-build?

No doubt Stewart! Get her some plugs for valentines!

The new transmissions are pretty dang stout. Since 2008 I've put over 200k on three trucks and never touched any of the transmissions. And yes, if I could buy a manual I'd have one but the M shift mode we have now works pretty good.

Well my emissions test was do today so i did what was recomended and added Seafoam to gas ,Warmed up motor , cleaned out spark plug well and added PB Blaster lube AND then used a impact gun to loosen plugs! WORKED GREAT or Got Lucky!! i think it is the tapping action the also helps loosen the carbon build up off plug. I only did piston #5 so far just to pass the emissions and it worked. Now im re-thinking about the new truck purchase

Awesome! New trucks are nice, but not having a truck payment is nice too!
