2013 F-250 King Ranch 38,800 plus 6.7 Diesel. I took delivery June 24, 2013 and have been using it to tow my 27 foot Airstream. The explosion of freedom after setting out with the rig explains the mileage. I notice that we, wife and me, are starting to slow down on the mileage and to smell the roses as we go along. I like Michelin tires the best an intend to buy same when the time comes. I think that towing causes extra tire wear. So, what is the best Michelin tread pattern to buy for towing my 7300 lb. Airstream?

I am happy to find this forum, and plan to contribute what I can. So, please ask any questions you may have.

Greetings to all

Wow! 195K. I'm told that the ball joints on the F250 need replacing at 100K. Any comments on that?

My signature tells it all. My old F250 has been worked and played, but mostly worked with all it's life, and is doing all I ask it to for my landscaping business. I've had it for 6 years now and has been and will continue to be a great truck. I'd like to know if my 99 wasn't one of, or the very first SD's to roll off the line. It has a build date of January 1998.

Yeah it was a former work truck of my dads. Was looking through the service records and it seems that nothing has been done to it BUT oil changes and ball joints!

That's really cool. Don't they early ones have an ash tray in place of the hook, plus other strange differences? Does it have the blue dash?

Very nice, my 05 just turned 171K. Redrkt, head on down to the 6.0 section, a lot going on down there and some very knowledgeable folks.

Not sure what you mean by hook? It has 2 ashtrays, one tiny one between the cup holders and the other large one underneath and separate. Tan dash. I've never rode or drove in a new one so have no idea what the strange differences might be. Only other F250 I've had was a 66 Super Camper Special.

Yeah the 2000-2004s only have the little ashtray between the cup holders.
