things have changed a little bit from when i posted that. My set up now is 2 94 Holley carbs on a polished Fenton dual intake, pre 48 style Fenton finned aluminum heads, stock water pumps, lincoln valve springs, Manley valves, adjustable lifters, 4" crank, aluminum timing gears, forged pistons, ceramic coated Fenton headers flex fan, c4 auto, 9" ford open rear end.

this is all on a stand getting ready to go into my 53 f100

Had some kids and got another project so the flathead got shelved for a bit

so how much power can be made from a flathead and still run pump gas and some longevity?
