Angry 1997 F350 7.3 PS Power Steering blew

I have a 1997 F350 7.3 power stroke, This morning it was 25 degrees I started the truck and let it warm up.
I was in 4x4 mode when I backed up. as I did the Power steering hose blew out of the pump.
I'm not sure how to tell if the pump itself has any damage. I know the hose needs to be replaced as the fitting now leeks ( bad ) and It almost looked like there
was a spurt of fluid just under the hose, couldn't get a good look.
Any one else have a similar problem? Any Advise?

Thanks and Have A Happy Thanksgiving,

My truck did that about a year ago. I was coming back from Fla. with my car hauler pulled up to my driveway and put it in reverse to back in and the pressure hose blew the hose right out of the fitting at the pump. I went to Auto zone put a new one on it no problems. Guess the seals just got weak. I thouhgt maybe a pressure spike or something at first. Not sure if yours did the same thing or not.Good luck
