Excursion Dually?

A while ago (about a year or so) I read in one of the truck mags (don't have the issue, read it at work) there was an article about a company that regularly modifies Suburbans by adding duallies. This article however was about them trying their hand at an Excursion (elsewise I wouldn't dare post this request here!) with duallies. I was wondering if anyone has that article, would they mind telling me how to contact that company- or if anyone has any suggestions where to look to get this kind of job done right I would appreciate that too.
Thanks
Def

First of all, I would like to say that I am glad to see other people who think like me. hehe

I haven't seen new body style Dually Suburbans yet, but I have seen mid '80's Sub-Duallies:

You might have seen the black one on the movie "Twister." On the Excursion you have a problem that has a few different was to fix it.

1.) You don't have the space between the doors and rear panel to fit a dually fender unless you do:

a.) Stretch the rear of the Excursion to make it fit, or

b.) You make the fender part of the door.

2.) They don't make a new style aftermarket fender (that I know of) that has the rounded wheel well cut out like the new duallies. You will either have to

a.) Pay the $3,200 or so for a new dually SWB bed, or

b.) Use the old body style ('92-'98)

Now don't get me wrong, it can be done, but you will need tons on money to do it. I will see if I see any info on the new body style ones. I will see if I can make you some prototype pictures like the styles I just listed.

Excursion Dually?

Actually, was planning on doing it to my old Sub- just didn't think I was allowed to say that here! Can't afford the Excursion to begin with to say nothing of the mods!
Nice to know though that even the biggest rigs on the road aren't big enough for someone else.
Thanks for the links- greatly appreciated.

I would love to have seen that Excursion. I tried to find it on the Auto Trader and the Truck Trader site under the 90001 zip code, but they must have sold it. I can always make a picture I guess
