How is your CCW bill getting on?

How is the CCW bill doing? I have not heard anything about it for a while. It would be nice if your administration would credit you with human sense and let you carry weaponry on your person. In all of the states where CCW is permitted, very few circumstances of CCW holder crime has ever been reported. IT does not make blood baths in the street, nobody shoots you in a fender bender, and so far, no CCW holder has gone postal and shot up the local populous.

I may be travelling up to your neck of the woods in a couple of months, and like to know what the laws are doing..

Last I heard, it got vetoed. I haven't heard much on it though, most of my news comes from Minnesota, which BTW, just passed a CCW bill a few months ago. They haven't had anything bad happen yet and I doubt they ever will. I believe it makes for a safer environment. Where in WI will you be visiting Theo?

Yes, our leaning-lefter-every-day liberal Democrat governor vetoed it last week with a bunch of fanfare. There will be an override vote maybe this week, but I'd bet the farm several of the Dems that voted for it will flop and the veto will be upheld.

I am intending to be in the northern area for a while next spring, maybe earlier..

I wish politicians were able to leave their personal opinion out of it, and follow the electorate..

Make sure you let us know where and when - maybe we can meet and have a few beverages!

I wish things would be voted upon based on merit, as opposed to the various agendas.

I'm with oppy on the whole CCW thing. Political agenda's seem to take precedence over anything else. You're always welcome here Theo. Drop me an email when you come around, I'm in the northern part of the state. Maybe we can get together for a few drinks and dinner or something.

Easy now, I have quite a few family members from our neighbor to the south I do agree though, it's hard to keep 'em away from such beautiful country. I'll trade ya all the Illinoians for the Minnesotan's we get around here

A trip to Wisconsin with out a sampling of what is made in our great state would be a shame. Beer, brats, cheese, and great bakery. We'll send you home well fed and and a little heavier. Count me in on a meeting if possible. I'm just north and west of Milwaukee.

At the local gun show in Eau Claire today Senator Zein said they are planning to try and over ride Doyle's veto around the 22 of Jan. He also stated that there are only 4 states left that don't have right to carry laws. Two of them are in the process of getting the law changed. Write, call, or email your congressmen TODAY. Lets not be the last state in the union to enact this law.
