i have a set of gibson headers that i will be installing on a ford f150 4.6. three weeks ago i got a set of edelbrock headers. only after removing the driver side stock header and begaining to install the new header did i see that they where the wrong ones. they sold me headers for a 5.4. the gibsons look like everything is right but one thing. the passenger side has holes on the top and u shaped holes on the bottoms for mounting. so you can start two bolts and set the header in place. but the driver side header is the oppisite. the u shaped holes are on the top. do any of you know if this is common or is the driver side wrong? i just don't want to start only to have to reinstall the factory again. any info or help will be put to use. thanks.

just to let you guys know that the headers took me about 6 hours to install( i am a first timer). the hardest thing was after the headers where in remounting them. there was two screw on each header that took me about 30 mins to do. thats per screw.
i am very happy with the install and can't wait until saturday for the rest of the exhuast to be done at a local shop. trues with a
h pipe and 40 series mufflers.
