I was getting it at $1.25, but then mid-October jumped to $1.33 to $1.39 (depending where you look) in the Austin, TX area. I hear the price jumped because of the "winter" fuel.
I am afarid that it will continue to go up as more use it. Meaning POV typ use.

Paid $1.79 my last fill up (unleaded regular was $1.69), down from a $1.89 last month. Have seen some stations here in the San Jose area selling diesel for as much as a $1.99.

it cost more for diesel in PA. then gas. thats why the Trucker here complain, and they to get fuel in VA, or GA. Today diesel went to $155.9 up 4 cents
$1.49 in Northeast Florida today at truck stops, up to $1.65 at other service stations. It really pays to shop around. The price is up 4 cent/gal in the last week. Unleaded regular is 4 to 5 c cheaper.

There is a pretty good web site for checking prices www.dieselboss.com ...hope i did that right. 1st time poster.
They seem to be pretty up to date. Currently paying 1.55.9 in Ripon Flying J. Hint, some of the Truck stop places will give you a card for $.01 off per gal.
OK now I have to think about moving to get good prices..............sad

I have noticed that Oklahoma seems to have the lowest prices around. Much lower that Arkansas and Texas which both average 1.45.9 right now, but not uncommon to see 1.29.9 in Oklahoma. Anyone know if the fuel tax is less in Oklahoma?

I did my first fillup for a $1.449 in Phx. Az. I went by a Flying J afterward and they had it for $1.439. My neighborhood gas station is selling it for $1.679 so the 6 mile drive to the J is worth it. Good Luck, JLG.
