Bigger tires for my Ranger

What's the tallest, widest tire that I can put on my 2000 Ford Ranger XLT....2 wheel drive. Because I want bigger tires on it. Also recomending the best lift kit for a 2wd Ranger would helpful as well...3 inch lift at most.

If you'll do a quick search on that topic you'll get more answers than you could ever possibly use . .

i would say a 255/70R15 would be the biggest youd want to go, with no lift. it'll rub a tad at full lock, but thats it. there arent too many lifts available for our trucks. fabtech, cst, and camburg are the only ones that make a real lift kit. fabtech makes a 3" spindle lift for around $400 i think. check it out at www.performancelifts.com

A small row of blue buttons near the top of this web page. Third from the right. Brobably right below a blinking banner ad.

Seriously, it's worth taking a look at all the options and variables before you lay out the bucks.
